Which academic subjects does M+W Zander look for?
Primarily we look for graduates on process engineering, supply engineering, electrical engineering, pharmaceutical engineering, biotechnology, chemical engineering, economics and business administration, mechanical engineering, IT and automation.
How does an application run off?
If we received your documents, we will send you a confirmation. Subsequently, we look into your application and inform you about the date when we decided to invite you to an interview as soon as possible.
What documents should I submit with my application?
Your complete application should include the following documents:
- A letter of application in which you refer to a specific vacancy and the respective contact person in the personnel department. Or, in the case of an application being sent on your own initiative, stating in which area you would like to be employed, the next possible date when you could start work and, perhaps, your salary expectations, etc.
- Curriculum vitae in tabular and chronological form
- A current photograph
- Copies of your academic qualifications and references
- Documentary evidence of practical experience and related activities, plus any additional qualifications.
If you complete our online application form, we will ask you to send us the requisite documents as and if required.
Is knowledge of the German language a basic prerequisite for a job application?
This depends on the job in question. As a general rule: We are an international Company. We also operate at international level and communicate mainly in English. If knowledge of other languages are necessary for the job, this will always be stated as being a prerequisite in the job specification.
Whom do I contact if I am interested in a job abroad?
We ask applicants who are interested in working at one of our locations abroad to send their application directly to the contact address of the respective company. A list of all M+W Zander’s worldwide locations can be found in our Locationfinder.
Should I send my application by post or apply online?
Regardless of whether you apply by post or via e-mail, we check all incoming applications for suitability for employment within our Company. It is important that, whether on paper or in digital form, your application is detailed and complete. If your application contains extensive documentation please, for the sake of easier handling, send us your application by post. If you are submitting an online application please also do not forget to give us your telephone number, in case we should have any queries.
How soon can I reckon with receiving a reply to my application?
Generally, on receipt of your application, we will send you an interim reply within a period of three days. The selection process will then take some time. Please bear with us, you will hear from us again after a period of four to six weeks at the very latest.
Can I send an application on my own initiative?
If you were not able to find a position which was of interest to you in our vacancy list, you may, of course, also send us an application on your own initiative. In your application, please let us know which position or which sphere of activity you are interested in. Please also let us know how flexible you are regarding your place of work. We will endeavor to check for suitable employment vacancies within our departments.
