Facility Management for a high-flyer
The Deutsche Bank has commissioned M+W Zander with the facility management of all its self-occupied real estate. The contract embraces an annual transaction volume in the two digit million realm. M+W Zander can therewith strengthen its position on the market as leading European facility management service provider.
M+W Zander provides the Deutsche Bank with comprehensive assistance in the areas of technical facility management, relocation and project management. The long-term aspect of the project assignment signifies the continuation of a successful, long standing collaboration.
As far back as 1999, M+W Zander took over 49 per cent of the GTG - Gesellschaft für Technisches Gebäudemanagement mbH, in Eschborn, in which the Deutsche Bank, for the time being, retained a 51 per cent holding. The subsequent period saw the fusion within the GTG of the facility management of the Deutsche Bank’s self-occupied real estate on prominent sites throughout Germany.
31. December 2002 M+W Zander raised its stake in the GTG to 100 per cent and assumed the operational management. At the same time, steps were undertaken towards the takeover of further Deutsche Bank facility management activities, a course of action yet to be undertaken by the GTG. Furthermore, since 2002, M+W Zander has supervised the operation of the Deutsche Bank’s premises in Moscow.
In addition to the Deutschen Bank, our facility management clients number notable German and European financial service providers such as the Commerzbank, the HypoVereinsbank, the Allianz/Dresdner Bank, the Münchener Rückversicherung and IKB.
