Dr. (Economics) Wolfgang Häfele

A Short Biography
 Since May 2007 Dr. oec. Wolfgang Häfele is Managing Director of MWZ Beteiligungs GmbH, the parent company of the M+W Zander group. From 2003-2006 he was member of the executive board of M+W Zander Holding AG, the precursor company of MWZ Beteiligungs GmbH. He is also CEO of M+W Zander D.I.B. Facility Management GmbH and therefore responsible for the overall Facilities Management business since 2000.
Before becoming Managing Director of M+W Zander FM, the graduated economist was three years a Director of the Stuttgarter Bank AG where he was responsible for the core business unit real estate financing and asset mediation as well as project development.
From 1989-1997 Dr. Häfele was Director of the Economic Development Department for the city of Stuttgart in former Mayor Rommels office.
Dr. Wolfgang Häfele is member of the Regional Parliament of the Region Stuttgart and member of the board of trustees of the Wirtschaftsförderungsgesellschaft (economic development board) of the Region Stuttgart.
Dr. Häfele studied economics at the University of Stuttgart-Hohenheim from 1981-1986. He obtained a doctorate (Dr. oec.) with a thesis on labour law in 1988.
