Jürgen Wild
Managing Director of MWZ Beteiligungs GmbH and Spokesman for the Board of Management
A Short Biography
 Mr. Jürgen Wild has been Managing Director of MWZ Beteiligungs GmbH, the parent company of the M+W Zander Group, since March 2008. The manager was born near Nuremberg (Germany) in 1961 and acts as Spokesman for the Board of Management. The focus of his position at M+W Zander is the biggest segment of facility engineering and automation engineering with sales worth almost 1.7 billion euros.
After twelve years service in the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) and taking a parallel degree in aerospace engineering at the University of the Bundeswehr in Munich, Jürgen Wild held several positions at international companies in the power-plant and engineering sector. These include:
- Alstom in the field of turbine construction and power-plant engineering in Nuremberg and Paris
- Cegelec in industrial engineering in Frankfurt and Brussels
- VA-TECH as Chief Executive Officer of the Infrastructure segment in Vienna
- Jürgen Wild’s last position was as Chief Executive Officer for business development at Austrian Energy&Environment.
Jürgen Wild is married and has two children.
