These days the type and quantity of the anticipated emission are already taken into consideration in the planning and construction phases of new production facilities. In order to arrive at a realistic estimation, the emission rates have to be calculated. Moreover, prior intelligence of the facilities needed for the treatment of waste water and exhaust gas, as well as their degree of retention, respectively degradation, is a prerequisite.
To be able to maintain the flow of consistent, reliable information both in-company and vis-à-vis the authorities after erection of a plant, it’s mass flow rates have to be registered, documented and for the eventuality of future modifications, in particular, alterations to the production volume, made accessible for reference.
