Complex Solutions - Our competence for your Nanotechnology facility
M+W Zander is proud to have designed some of North America’s leading edge Nanotech facilities for both the National Labs (Argonne and Oak Ridge) and for Universities (Georgia Tech, University of Florida, and the University of California). Our strength in this field is a natural outgrowth of 50 years of advanced technology facility design and construction, our proven facilities performance and with research we’ve conducted in our own facilities R&D center in Stuttgart. This experience allows us to better understand the science to be performed in the proposed facility and the researcher’s needs.
we have been able to provide the experience and benchmarks to identify and assess the unique requirements for small-scale materials and device research facilities. Applying the right mix of functionality, flexibility, scientific collaboration and the highest degree of process technology is critical to the ultimate success of research and its eventual commercialization.
A key ingredient of our success is M+W Zander's Industrial Engineering (IE) capability. Our IE is a measurable method of consulting, analysis and simulation modeling, space planning and facility design support. Our IE Team ensures that diverse facility requirements – concepts, goals, space needs, equipment and utility requirements, and even personnel and material flows – are well integrated and optimized, so that productive systems and environments are conceived and validated throughout the design-build process.
Today, our emerging technologies facilities are places of collaboration and discovery for researchers in Europe, Asia and North America. For a brief overview, browse examples of M+W Zander's Nanotechnology R&D and incubation facilities. To do so, please visit our reference page.
