Air-Handling Units
Air handling units KBS
The air-conditioning and ventilation systems of the KBS series are manufactured as a combined block system of individual modules, in which the air-conditioning components are installed. All components consist of a dimensionally stable framework construction with enclosed-type hollow aluminium profile sections and angle joints made of diecast aluminium. All connections are bolted. The panels for the bottom, walls and ceiling are double-skin self-contained elements made from galvanized sheet metal and which are easy removable.
Only non-flammable mineral wool of building material class A2 according to standard DIN 4102 is used for the insulation of the panels. All joints are sealed with a permanent-elastic, silicon-free sealing compound. The doors are sealed through a wrap-around double lip seal. The doors are made of the same panels as the walls. In addition they have to interlocks with levers located outside.
The air-conditioning and ventilation systems of our KBS series feature smooth inner and outer surfaces, unidirectional flow and a low vibration and energy-optimized design. The KBS units are available in different sizes to hand air volumes between 6.000 m3/h and 70.000 m3/h.
Air handling units SWP
The air-conditioning systems of the SWP series specially designed to handle large air flow volumes (40.000 – 200.000 m3/h and more) are setting new standards in innovation, design and economy. One of the outstanding features is the complete lack of thermal bridges. This means that the interior and exterior surface of the enclosure as well as the doors have no metallic connections. The enclosure is made of a base frame with sandwich panels connected trough a tongue-and-groove system. An insulation layer of mineral wool or Polyurethane foam is inserted between the internal and external metallic skin of the panels. The doors are equipped with a wrap-around lip seal providing a leak-tight design of up to 2.000 Pa overpressures.
The SWP series is designed for easy assembly and installation on the construction site. The lightweight and compact design reduces the transport volume by approx. 60 to 70 % and thus resulting in significant savings in costs for long distance and overseas transportation.
The air-conditioning and ventilation systems of the KBS series feature a design free of thermal bridges, smooth inner and outer surfaces, low vibration during operation and reduced energy consumption, reduced transportation volume and easy to assemble which allows convenient installation on construction sites with limited space available.
