Ultraflex Cassette Ceiling UKD
Environments with low bacteria counts are essential in production facilities for the pharmaceutical and food industry. Cleanroom ceiling systems have to meet special surface qualities and easy-to-clean requirements. For those special applications M+W Zander has developed the Ultraflex UKD Cassette Ceiling system comprising a gap-free design and wipe-resistant surfaces.
The ceiling consists of interlocking sheet-metal cassettes bolted at the angled upright webs. The hangers are also attached to these connections. Fittings and attachments such as filter fan units, HEPA filter and diffusers, built-in luminaries, sprinklers, smoke detectors and wall systems can be integrated through dedicated relieves punched into the metal cassettes. The outstanding features of the Ultraflex UKD Cassette Ceiling system are the GMP compliant design with smooth and easy to clean surfaces, flush-mounted installation of fittings and accessories, flexible grid dimensions up to 1200x1200 mm, easy and convenient installation through quick assembly and little leveling work required.
