M+W Zander is your full-service contractor for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) for

• power and cogeneration plants for biomass cogeneration plants
• conventional power and cogeneration plants
• chilled water generation with absorptions chillers

We aim to provide our customers especially energy-intensive industries and municipalities with

• combined generation of electricity, heat and chilled water,
• optimization of energy and mass flows (e.g. residues) and
• energy services.

M+W Zander is providing you with consulting services and planning, while project realization, to downstream operation of the systems. During the phase of consulting services and planning, M+W Zander supports you in coordinating approval procedures, defining system specifications, financing, carrying out economical and ecological optimization and implementation planning. In the realization phase the company is erecting the buildings, coordinating suppliers, installing utility systems, and making arrangements for tests and certification. M+W Zander also takes responsibility for a plant on the basis of a full service and maintenance contract.

• Studies concerning feasibility, economic efficiency and alternative solutions
• Drawing up and supervision of permitting documents
• Submission and supervision of initial survey documents
• Plant design
• Cooperation in the development and acquisition of special components
• Calculations and verifications for power plant requisitions
• Organization and acquisition of replacement and expendable parts
• Documentation of components and facilities

Within our group we can offer you complete facility management for your facilities and buildings, including operating and maintaining technical equipment at the facility and managing all infrastructure and business administration aspects.

With plant contracting we undertake the entire financing, you receive your liquidity and pay an agreed user fee.

With supply contracting as a special implementation, we will fully operate the plant and you are only accountable for the actual used power. This type of outsourcing is ideal for example, for municipal purposes, public institutions such as hospitals or universities, and industrial consumers who are concerned with cost-cutting, while at the same time would rather focus on their core business.
