Successful projects and satisfied customers
Our experience as a general contractor for plant construction has a track record going back to the 1980s. And our rise to the status of global player started with the construction of our first semiconductor factory in Taiwan, nearly 20 years ago. Since then, we have undertaken a large number of exciting and challenging projects for our customers all over the world.
We regard a project as successful if at the end of the process we have completed the project to the utmost satisfaction of our customer. That’s why we are also particularly proud that customers are continually returning to us for follow-up projects.
The latest example is a major contract for the planning and construction of a new semiconductor factory in the Middle East. As General Contractor, we are undertaking complete project processing for planning, purchasing and construction management. This also includes the technical setup of the factory and around 18,000 square meters of cleanroom area. The construction phase will be concluded in the third quarter of 2007. This contract has a price tag of 700 million euros and is the biggest single order in the history of our company.
